Addison Barger Slugs His Third Homer of the Year
The 22-year-old Barger is off to a hot start to the 2018 season, with six home runs and 18 RBIs in his first 25 games.
His third homer of the year came in the fifth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night. He sent a 2-1 fastball from Blue Jays starter Trent Thornton over the right-field fence for a solo home run.
Barger is now tied for the team lead in home runs with catcher Will Smith. He is also second on the team in RBIs, behind only first baseman Max Muncy.
The Dodgers are off to a 6-0 start to the season, and Barger is a big reason why.
